The manual will be invaluable to you if you need to do any troubleshooting of your camera.

Cam Pan is remarkable for ensuring good home security, especially considering its low price. It doesn’t work with Google Assistant or have a web App. The mobile app works well but now looks a little dated.

You can enable a feature called “motion tracking,” too, which enlists the Wyze Cam Pan camera’s pan-tilt function to follow motion around the room. It worked pretty well and managed to follow me around the room, but worked best when I walked slowly. The Wyze Cam from Wyze Labs works flawlessly with Amazon Alexa.

Wyze Cam Pan works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. Wyze Cam Pan does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. You must download and use the Wyze App (available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store) to access all the features.

Wyze Cam Pan does not have a battery so it needs to be plugged in.

Smart motion and sound detectionMust be plugged into a power source, which could limit where you place it

When continuous recording is selected, your camera continuously records video to the microSD card. Wyze Cam will still make the 12-second alert videos that are captured and stored on the cloud for 14 days based on the camera’s motion detection settings.
