The Roku Streaming Player (or simply Roku stick) is the latest and cheapest version of their HD streaming device. The Roku Streaming Stick Plus offers 4K and HDR content in a small, cost-effective container. Its dead-simple interface equalizes the playing field for all streaming services. Roku has lightning-fast reactions, excellent video quality, and a remote that can manage the volume and power of your TV.
Its main competition would be Google Chromecast. It costs a little more than Chromecast and doesn’t have all of the special features like mirroring an entire computer to the TV, but that’s the price of having more than 50 times as many compatible apps and physical remote control.
Getting the most out of your Roku Stick requires some understanding of how to use it. That’s where having the owner’s manual comes in handy. With proper usage, there is less risk of damage, and you’ll learn how to get the most out of it.
Please be sure to read and save the entire manual before setting up or using your Roku Stick. Misuse may result in damage to the unit and/or cause harm or serious injury. Download the manual and save it for future reference.

I personally own one of these sticks and it works great albeit a bit slower in response to the larger models like the Roku Premiere.
